But in short, by cleaning your windows / doors with Pure Water (instead of tap water), we can leave your windows to air dry naturally to a sparkling finish. This means we aren’t using dirty water or rags to wipe down your windows, which can result in unsightly smears and marks on the glass.
On the first clean only, we apply to all windows and doors a foaming cleaning solution that helps us to bring your windows and doors right up to scratch.
However, having said that, it can take up to three cleans to see optimum results. If your windows have never been cleaned with Pure Water before, or not in a long time, your window seals, nooks and crannies will be full of grime. These seals and window crevices can hold a lot more grime than you would imagine and than is outwardly apparent. The Pure Water acts like a magnet to all this grime (please see our Pure H20 Technology page for more details) drawing it out and holding on to it, ready to be rinsed away, and although a significant amount will be removed on your first clean, this process continues over the next few cleans.
Something to be aware of…
“Also” because Pure Water can continue to draw dirt out of the window seals even after we leave your home, some dirty runs can appear on the glass. Small runs during these initial cleans are totally normal so we ask that you bare with the process. But if any runs appear that concern you, or are very noticeable, just give us a call within 24 hours of your clean and we will pop back to re-clean those areas for you. After 2 or 3 cleans these runs shouldn’t occur any more.
