'GoCardless' direct debit is direct debit with a twist, which makes it the ideal payment method for window cleaning customers. This is how it works; rather than payment coming out on a set date every month (as it does with a traditional direct debit), only after we complete your clean, do we click a button to request payment. 'GoCardless' will then email you, notifying you that we have requested payment and if you take no action, then payment is taken 3-5 days later.

GoCardless direct debit is the only payment method we offer our new residential window cleaning customers. But don't worry we have been working with GoCardless for years now and have found it to be the safest and easiest way for our customers to pay their bill. You are covered by the direct debit guarantee, so you are in good hands.

No, rather than payment coming out automatically on a set date every month (as it does with a traditional direct debit), only AFTER we complete your clean, do we request payment.

No, we have to manually request payment after each clean is completed. So if your clean is delayed (due to extreme weather, employee illness etc), then we won’t request payment and payment won’t be taken. 

However, if we are turned away on the day of the clean or if the clean or service is cancelled without sufficient advance notice (refer to our terms and conditions) we reserve the right to charge the full price expected. We also reserve the right to charge the full expected price if access on the day has not been made available by the customer to either part or all of the home. 

No, it’s much easier to leave it in place. Your Gocardless account can simply lie dormant until we need it again. We have to request payment manually for each clean, so while you are having building work done, we won’t be cleaning for you, and won’t be requesting any payments. (Please refer back to question 4 for more information on this).

Yes you can, BUT, cancelling your direct debit does not cancel your window cleaning service with us.
If you wish to cancel your window cleaning service, this needs to be done in writing via email or via our 'Get a quote / Contact Us’ page.

Yes, if you are a regular window cleaning customer and pay your bill by GoCardless direct debit, then we can use your direct debit to collect one off payment for Gutter Cleaning, Fascia and Soffit Cleaning, Conservatory Roof Cleaning or one of our other services.

Simply fill in the boxes to the left of these FAQ's with the first line of your address and postcode, and click “Set up your direct debit." A short form will appear for you to fill in. It literally takes a couple of minutes to complete, and that's it! Payment sorted!
